exploring zim

last week i traveled with two friends – phatsimo and nomathemba – across the border to zimbabwe! we spent a few days in a village outside of bulawayo, where noma grew up until she came to botswana for university. then we returned to visit phatsi’s home village of mandunyane. our days were full of meeting family members, exploring towns and villages, eating sugar cane … and … i now have officially de-feathered a chicken. that’s just a whole new kind of experience.

this week i’ll be updating about our trip and also sharing some thoughts from the girls on ways you can pray for their villages. for now above are some photos from noma’s home in serowe, botswana and our time in zimbabwe…
